Terms and Conditions
Before you embark on your glamping retreat, please take a moment to read and understand our terms and conditions. By making a reservation and staying at Brora Escapes you agree to the following:
Booking To make your booking request, you must be eighteen years of age or older.
Bookings should be made online and on completing the Booking, you declare that the information provided is accurate. We accept no responsibility for mistakes made when booking and paying a deposit, so please make sure you check your confirmation carefully once received.
(Choose to take a deposit or full payment. Whichever option you do not choose, remove from your terms and conditions)
If you take a deposit payment:
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and full payment is required four weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date. If the full balance is not received within this period, we reserve the right to cancel your Booking and retain the deposit.
On confirmation, you will receive an automatically generated booking confirmation and payment summary by email to the email address provided at the time of booking. At this point, a contract shall exist between you and us on these Terms and Conditions.
Arrival and Departure Your pod or guest suite will be available from 4 PM on your arrival date. Your check-in is contactless, and you will be sent details prior to your arrival.
You must check out by 10 AM on the date of your departure.
Cancellations and Changes If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us as soon as possible and confirm this in writing via email ([TBC]). Your booking will only be fully cancelled once you receive written confirmation of the cancellation from us.
If we receive less than four weeks’ notice, you will be liable to pay the total cost of your stay, including any third-party costs connected with your pre-booked extras that we cannot recoup.
We strongly recommend that all guests take out UK travel insurance.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your holiday, we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us by you within 14 days.
Please note that refunds can only be made using the original payment method.
Closures From time to time, unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, may occur. In such cases, Brora Escapes reserves the right to close the site. If this happens, we will move your booking to an alternative date or offer a refund.
Number of Guests The maximum number of people using the accommodation at any time must not exceed 3 in each pod and 2 in the guest studio. Only those detailed on the booking can occupy the property.
Pets Pets are welcome in our pods. We allow a maximum of 1 well-behaved dog per pod. We do not allow pets in our guest studio.
Weather We regret that weather conditions are beyond our control and cannot refund any monies if you cancel your booking or reduce your stay due to the weather.
Force Majeure Brora Escapes accepts no liability for events beyond our control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, fire, or failure of utility services. In such instances, refunds will be at our discretion.
Car Parking We offer free parking on site. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s own risk, and we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.
Guest Behaviour Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately and comply with our procedures and requests. Disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the site without a refund.
Low Noise Policy We are a quiet, peaceful site, and we ask guests to be respectful to others on the site. Loud noise and nuisance will not be tolerated at any time, and all noise must be kept to a minimum after 10 PM.
Safety Your safety is our utmost priority. We have implemented measures to ensure a secure and enjoyable stay.
- Chimineas and Fire Pits must not be left unattended and must be fully extinguished after use.
- Open flames, candles, or any form of outdoor cooking equipment are strictly prohibited inside.
- Only use the firewood provided.
- This is a rural property. Please exercise caution when moving around the outdoor areas, especially at night.
- Ensure that your pod or studio is securely locked when you are not present.
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially around chimineas.
By booking and staying at Brora Escapes you acknowledge and agree to abide by these safety guidelines.
Smoking Smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere on site, either inside or out..
Housekeeping, Maintenance & Damages Your pod or studio must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Guests will be charged for any item(s) that are removed, lost, or damaged.
Personal Property Brora Escapes will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property. Vehicles, accessories, and contents are left at the owner’s risk. It is recommended that your holiday insurance covers loss or damage to personal effects.
Indemnification Guests agree to indemnify and hold Brora Escapes harmless from any claims, damages, expenses, injuries, or liabilities arising from their stay, except where caused by negligence or misconduct by us.
BRORA ESCAPES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR AMEND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME.
